Our physical therapists are trained to effectively rehabilitate a variety of conditions and will work with you to assess your needs and design a treatment plan to meet your therapy goals. Customized exercise and treatment plans are designed for each individual to promote optimal physical performance, muscular strength, coordination, and endurance; as well as to relieve pain.

Rock Steady Boxing

Rock Steady Boxing is an exercise program specifically designed for men and women at all stages of Parkinson’s manage their symptoms through exercise.  Several medical studies on exercise and Parkinson’s have concluded that forced intense exercise can slow the progression of Parkinson’s. In other words, when exercise is done at a volunteer rate, there is less benefit than when exercise is done that pushes or forces someone out of their comfort zone.  Watch the story on KEYC News to learn more. Occupational Therapy
River’s Edge Hospital & Clinic provides quality occupational therapy to improve the health and quality of life for patients of all ages. Occupational Therapists provide rehabilitation services for physical impairments, as well as cognitive deficits, which impact day to day function. Our occupational therapists will work with you to assess your needs and design a treatment plan to meet your therapy goals.

The Occupational Therapy Department offers a wide range of services including:

Therapy for hand, wrist, and elbow problems
Therapy for lymphedema
Repetitive strain disorders, such as carpal tunnel
Hand and arm fractures and/or burns
Hand/arm injuries of tendons, ligaments, nerves
