MaryAnn Harty of St. Peter is one of eight hospital trustees in Minnesota who were recognized on January 7, 2022 by the Minnesota Hospital Association for earning the Advanced Trustee Certification from the association.

Harty joined the River’s Edge Hospital Board of Trustees in 2017.  During her tenure, Harty has participated in the rigorous certification process that includes 35 hours of coursework.

Paula Meskan, CEO at River’s Edge Hospital, took the opportunity to share in the recognition during the MHA Annual Trustee Conference.

“MaryAnn has accepted almost every opportunity for education and to gain additional information.  She works to keep herself on the forefront of issues that impact healthcare, and specifically, River’s Edge.  She challenges her colleagues to be educated on issues, and she helps challenge me to be the best leader I can be for this organization.”

In addition to the Hospital Board, Harty is active in the hospital’s Quality Committee, Finance Committee and Patient and Community Advisory Council.
