River’s Edge Hospital Recognized for Performance Leadership in Patient Perspectives

As part of National Rural Health Day, River’s Edge Hospital today announced it has been recognized by The Chartis Center of Rural Health and the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH) for overall excellence in Patient Perspectives. The Performance Leadership Award program utilizes the results of the Hospital Strength INDEX® to recognize top quartile performance among Critical Access Hospitals and Rural & Community Hospitals.

“It is an honor to be recognized for the exceptional care all employees provide at River’s Edge Hospital,” said Paula Meskan, Interim CEO at River’s Edge Hospital. “During the Covid-19 pandemic, our employees have done so much to ensure all patients feel safe and well-taken care of while they are in our care.”

This is the seventh consecutive year River’s Edge Hospital has been recognized for this award.
