River’s Edge Hospital hosts 2nd Annual Living Well with Parkinson’s event

The River’s Edge Hospital Rehabilitation Therapy Department hosted its 2nd Annual Living Well With Parkison’s Disease event on Monday, April 22.   More than 50 individuals, people living with Parkinson’s and their care givers, were in attendance.

Nicole Boelter, Therapy Services Manager, highlighted the team who provide care and support to patients who are living with Parkinson’s.  Those team members are physical therapists Deb Mattson and Dustin Koehnen, Shannon Sticha, physical therapist assistant, Jenna Wall and Mikayla Vogel, occupational therapists, Kim Schanbacher speech therapist, and Jenna Ibes therapy intern.

“River’s Edge is lucky to have such a strong team where passion, knowledge, dedication, and advocacy drive the exceptional care they provide their patients,” said Nicole Boelter, Therapy Department Manager.  “When a patient starts their care with us, we hope to maintain that relationship with the patient, their providers, and loved ones to provide the best opportunities and care for years to come.”
