On to the next phase of construction!
In the past four weeks footings have been built on the east patient wing and foundation walls on both patient wings have also been constructed. All sanitary sewer work is complete and earthwork in the interior courtyard is done. Next in the process is the completion of the plumbing work in the south and east wings. Inside, the new Physical and Occupational Therapy Department is taking shape as walls and sheetrock will be started this week. Steel will start coming on site the week of Aug. 13 and those beams will start to go up, making the new patient wings look like patient wings. An open house for the new PT/OT department is tentatively planned for early October.
