Registered Nurse – Emergency Department – $1,000 sign-on bonus

Type of Position: Full-Time

We have 1 full-time .9 (72 hours every 2 weeks) position available in our ED. Working primarily nights, every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays. The registered nurse is accountable for the provisions of nursing care to all patients in the Emergency Department, including the provision of nursing care to trauma patients. The registered nurse will prescribe, delegate and coordinate that care as part of their daily responsibility. The registered nurse will also participate in unit management, staff orientation and self-development. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Minnesota license. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS. Certification in TNCC or CALS within 12 months of hire and PALS or ENPC within 6 months of hire. Sincere interest in nursing with knowledge and ability to use the nursing process. Ability to interact in a positive and cooperative manner with courtesy and respect towards co-workers, patients and other customers. Previous Emergency Department experience preferred. Starting salary range is $30.28-$37.32 based on experience plus shift differential of $2.25 for 2nd and $3.00 for 3rd.

Registered Nurse – Education Specialist/Cardiac Rehab/Employee Health

Type of Position: Full-Time

We have 1 full time .9 (72 hours per two weeks) position available in quality/cardiac rehab. This position is 28 hours a week as an education specialist and 8 hours (Fridays) a week in cardiac rehab. The Education Specialist is responsible for developing, evaluating and validating competency of staff. The Education Specialist will assist with the orientation and ongoing education of staff, and will maintain appropriate records of education, training, skills and experience. The Education Specialist will also coordinate clinical rotations and requests for clinical education from outside organizations. The Cardiac Rehabilitation RN will be responsible for the ongoing implementation of the cardiac rehabilitation program, cardiac stress testing program and cardiac monitoring program. The Employee Health Nurse assists the Chief Quality Officer in implementing the Employee Health Program. These responsibilities include surveillance, implementing vaccine-preventable disease control measures, administration of vaccines and Mantoux tests, documentation and providing education associated with employee health issues. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Minnesota license, certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS (American Heart Association). Instructor training for ACLS, BLS, & PALS to be completed within one year of date of hire. Previous experience with electronic health record. Experience with Epic/Excellian preferred. Ability to interact in a positive and cooperative manner with courtesy and respect towards co-workers, patients, and other customers. Must be able to analyze and interpret cardiac rhythms and cardiac monitoring strips. Must demonstrate ability to take manual vital signs. Starting salary range is $29.83-$37.85 based on experience.

Physical Therapist Assistant – Casual

Type of Position: Casual

We have a casual position in our Physical Therapy department. This position includes a commitment to a minimum of one weekend per month with the opportunity to work additional weekends in rotation if desired and the potential opportunity for weekday hours based on scheduling needs. This position would assist the physical therapist in delivery of treatment to patients using physical agents such as light, heat, electricity, water, manual techniques, therapeutic exercise, and mechanical devices, and follows standard procedures and safety precautions for their application. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Currently licensed to practice in the State of Minnesota as certified by the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy. Certified in Basic Life Support. Starting salary range is $19.14-$23.00 based on experience.

Physical Therapist – Casual

Type of Position: Casual

We have a casual position available in our Physical Therapy department. This position includes a commitment to a minimum of one weekend per month with the opportunity to work additional weekends in rotation if desired and the potential opportunity for weekday hours based on scheduling needs. This position is responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical agent modalities and procedures as prescribed by referring provider to restore function and prevent disability. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program. Currently licensed to practice in the State of Minnesota, as certified by Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy. Certified in BLS. Starting salary range is $31.37-$38.80 based on experience.

Registered Nurse – Med Surg

Type of Position: Full-Time

We have 1 full-time (.9, 72 hours per two weeks) position available on our Med Surg Unit. This position is day/night rotate 12 hour shifts, every third weekend and rotating holidays. The registered nurse is accountable for the provisions of nursing care to all patients in the hospital and to prescribe, delegate and coordinate that care as part of the daily responsibility. The registered nurse will also participate in a rotation charge nurse responsibility, staff orientation and self-development. Qualified candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Minnesota license. Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire and ACLS certification preferred at time of hire but required within 6 months of hire. One to two years of experience required. Starting salary range is $28.70-$36.07 based on experience plus shift differential of $2.25 for 2nd and $3.00 for 3rd.

Registration Specialist – Casual

Type of Position: Casual

We have a casual (16 hours per two weeks) position available in Registration. Working day/evening/night, rotating weekends, rotating holidays and flexibility to pick up additional shifts. This position greets, instructs, directs, and registers patients and visitors. Present a friendly, courteous and caring image.  Use of correct phone etiquette, answering phone in a pleasant and helpful manner. Performs other duties as requested by Registration Lead and Patient Financial Services Manager. Qualifications: High school graduate or GED. Prefer one year work experience, preferably in a medical office setting. Knowledge of medical terminology desirable. Experience with computers and other office equipment. Ability to manage a complex work environment. Ability to maintain effective relationships with patients, employees and the public. Starting salary range is $15.45-$18.35 based on experience.

Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) – Urgent Care

Type of Position: Part-Time

We have a part-time .8 (64 hours per two weeks) position available in our Urgent Care. This position is day/evening 12pm -8pm Monday- Friday and every other weekend (8am-4:30pm). The CMA is a multi-skilled individual who is responsible for the safe management of patient care in the clinic as directed by the RN or Healthcare provider. The CMA will be skilled in registering patients, taking patient vital signs, collecting blood and other specimens, and giving vaccinations and injections. The CMA will perform miscellaneous clinic duties in connection with referrals, appointment scheduling, management of patient medical records, and ordering medical and office supplies. Qualifications: Graduate of a certified or registered medical assistant program. Two years’ experience in urgent care or related health care environment preferred. Skilled in taking basic vital signs, knowledgeable or demonstrated ability to learn phlebotomy and preparation for lab testing, assist with office surgery and minor procedures. Current BLS certification. Must possess verbal and written communication skills to understand and interpret instructions. Must demonstrate effective communication skills with patients, families, providers and hospital staff. Must possess organizational ability to plan and coordinate activities of the clinic and maintain accurate records. Proficient in basic computer skills. Ability to interact in a positive and cooperative manner with courtesy and respect towards co-workers, patients and other customers. Starting salary range is $15.45-$18.72 based on experience.
