2 New Patient Wings Will Be Done at the End of May

Pouring concrete foundation

After a long winter, everyone at River’s Edge is happy that spring has arrived. Now that warmer weather is here, there will be a lot more progress made on the construction project. The big news is that the 2 new patient wings will be done at the end of May and the first patients will be admitted in those rooms the first Monday in June. On Monday, April 1, everything was in place for the concrete foundation to be poured in the new Emergency Department on the east side of the campus. In the next week the exterior framing of that department will start and it will begin to look like a real ER.

The rectangle shaped feature in the center is the new canopy at the future main entrance. To the right is the Emergency Department. The south patient wing (top) and east patient wing will be complete at the end of May.
