River’s Edge Hospital provides quality, flexible appointments for infusion and injection services including long-term therapy for chronic health issues and short-term therapy for acute health issues.

River’s Edge offers personalized care and communicates closely with the patient’s primary care physician and strives to accommodate patient personal schedules.

The Infusion Department also provides complete blood transfusions, platelet transfusions, fluids to treat dehydration, electrolyte replacement, antibiotic infusions/injections and central line care.

Instructions to make an infusion/injection referral:

• Call the Infusion Department at 507-934-7622 to obtain an order form or have your provider write a prescription for you.
• Complete all sections on the order form and/or prescription.
• Include patient contact information, insurance information, associated diagnoses, and supporting documentation.
• Fax forms to 507-934-8532
• Once all information is received, the Infusion Department staff will contact the patient to schedule an appointment.
